This is a case study of how to put that into use. These are the tips that the bookies don't want you to know. 888sport.com banned me within two months for winning too much.
888sport offer an Acca Club promotion:

- Register - Join 'The Acca Club'.
- Bet - Make as many multiple bets of €5+ as you can each week.
- Get - Earn yourself a Free Bet that you can use on any multiple!
With 888sport.com for 6 multiples of €5+ you earn a €10 free bet. So this is what I did.
See image left for quick way of picking 6 multiples. Pick 5 matches as close to odds of 1.1 as possible (1.1 is the minimum odds, anything less than this won't qualify you for the promotion). Click permutations, click the "Bankers" toggle switch, and finally select the match with the lowest odds as your banker.
This will give you a number of permutations which all include your banker. Stick to the trebles. The more legs on your accumulator means that the bookies edge will accumulate like compound interest. You do need a treble to qualify for the promotion though. There are alot of problems with accumulators - see here - but in this case we have minimised the risks by picking very short odds and only picking the minimum number of legs needed to qualify for the promotion.
Conveniently 5 matches with 1 banker produces 6 trebles which will nicely earn you a €10 free bet. So type in 5, to stake €5 on each of the six trebles and then click "Place Bet". The total cost will be €30.
You are good to go then. Sit back and pray your banker doesn't let you down. You should be in safe hands. Bookies operate a very small edge on the Goliath Favourites - so in the long term you should come very close to breaking even or making a small profit. So for the free double I like to get a couple of evens shots - and I like to change sports to the horses. An even money horse is usually a red hot favourite.
You will need an initial bankroll of about €100 and maintain a balance of €100. This will tide you over for when your banker-leg lets you down (which is rare, but it will happen). For example you could lose €30 in your first week and to continue you will need at least €30 still in your account. Mismanagement of your bankroll can mean losing money even with a winning strategy.

In June I wagered a total of €105, I won back €132.41 in real money and a bonus €12.20 in free bet winnings.
In July I wagered a total of €120, I won back €76.53 in real money and a bonus of €67.44 in free bet winnings. I then got banned from the promotion! Read here.
