Shop Around

Image
So you probably shop around for your grocery shopping, or for your petrol to get the best value. Obviously the same applies to bookies. Some bookies will offer better odds than others and sites like betbrain, oddsmonkey and oddschecker will help you find the best value odds. Now a new concept for me is that you now have to shop around for the best odds at the SAME bookie. Often they will offer different odds for the same outcome. For Example: For the Liverpool vs Dortmund Champions League match on 14th April 2016 BetBright who are usually quite competitive on odds offered the following odds. Quite clearly these are all the same event, 0-0 draw, no goalscorer, no team scores, less than 0.5 goals. However depending on the which market you decide to put your €10, you will be walking away with either €75 or €110 profit. The worst case being if you bet on Under 0.5 goals. In this case the bookie gives you €75 and keeps the €35 difference between that and the fairer

Bet Unfair

Read my blog for the tips that bookies do NOT want you to know. The proof is that they continue to restrict my accounts for using the strategies I share here. Betfair have ordered a restriction on my account. So they join the growing list: William Hill Ladbrokes Sky bet Paddy Power Betway Betfred 888sport The list now also includes Coral and 188bet (who still allow me bonuses but is basically unusable thanks to stake restrictions on horses). In betfair's case I received this email - ironically just a couple of hours receiving a separate email inviting me to take part in different promos. With betfair their promotions had been decent but not great. The horse offer was frustrating. Basically you place a bet at 3/1 odds or higher and if he wins then you get a free bet to the same value of your original stake. I stayed clear of this one as 3/1 price had to be the SP. After backing a couple of horses, and and then watching their SP drop to under 3/1 and so missing out

David vs Goliath

In the battle of wits between a simple punter (me) and a global multi million pound bookmaking giant (William Hill) - the giant wins but only in the most cowardly way. William Hill offer promotions such as this one on the horses . If your horse comes in second they offer you a free bet. By carefully picking the right horses you can turn the odds in your favour and actually reverse the bookie edge in your favour.  I funded my account in December 2015 with €200 and by April 2016 have withdrawals totalling €3,870. In order to beat me, the bookie could have got sharper with their odds - after all they do have databases of statistics and employs hundreds of risk analysts, traders, mathematicians and sports exports. But no - the cowardly way that they chose to beat me was to take their ball and go home. I can't play any more. My stakes have been limited and I am no longer allowed receive offers and promotions. My secret is simple and relied on taking advantage of generous free
